About The Private Table
The Private Table is a members-only dining collective that reimagines fine dining as an intimate, curated experience. We connect culinary artists with discerning guests in carefully selected private venues across Canada, creating memorable meals in settings designed for genuine conversation and community.
Our model brings together independent hosts and chefs/cooks who share a passion for hospitality. Every event is a collaboration—fixed menus designed by the host/chef, served in a private home or intimate venue, with carefully considered wine pairings and an atmosphere that encourages guests to connect with one another. There are no commercial kitchens, no rush service, and no crowds. Just excellent food, good company, and the kind of evening you'll remember.
We serve three membership tiers: Charter Members (lifetime access with no annual fee), Founding Members (individual $95/year or household $150/year with rates locked for life), and Standard Members (individual $150/year or household $250/year). All active members receive advance notice of events and guaranteed access to a minimum of three dinners per year.

Derrick Evans brings strategic vision and business acumen to The Private Table. As CEO of Starboard & Stem Inc., he oversees the growth and direction of the club, ensuring that the commitment to quality, intimacy, and intentional dining is reflected in every aspect of the member experience.
Rob Tucker
Founded by Rob Tucker, The Private Table reflects decades of experience in hospitality, event production, and community building. After 33+ years as a Royal Canadian Navy officer and a graduate of St. Lawrence College's Culinary Management program, Rob brings military precision and genuine warmth to every table he sets.
Shari Pilson
Shari Pilson brings exceptional organizational leadership to The Private Table. With a distinguished career as Senior Executive Secretary and Chief of Staff for Scarborough and Cameron, she ensures every aspect of the member experience is seamlessly orchestrated — from event coordination to member relations. Her dedication to excellence and warmth are woven into the fabric of every gathering.
