I began my professional journey as a dentist, but my true passion has always been food and the art of cooking. Over the past three years, I served as the Head Chef at El Gringo Taqueria, where I developed a culinary style rooted in authentic Mexican cuisine while drawing inspiration from my Chilean heritage. With a strong attention to detail, I strive to blend tradition, creativity, and refined technique in every dish. Pastry is another of my greatest strengths, allowing me to bring precision, balance, and warmth to every dining experience I create.

Rob Tucker spent 33+ years as a Royal Canadian Navy officer before returning to his first love — food. He is graduate of St. Lawrence College's Culinary Management program in Spring of 2025, and holds a certificate in charcuterie production from the Culinary Institute of Italy. After a lifetime of travel and a tested palate, Rob is in a journey to share his discoveries. Rob brings military precision with a genuine warmth to every table he sets. The Private Table is his life's work: an invitation to slow down, gather intentionally, and eat extraordinarily well.
